MCISD Language Arts teachers are committed to using scientifically research-based instructional techniques and best practices to ensure their students’ success.

Our Purpose
The Language Arts Department serves as administrative support and a resource for all the reading, writing, and English teachers in MCISD. Our main goal is to provide teachers with the information and staff development necessary to empower them to guide their students in reaching their potential as lifelong readers and writers.
