Mission FFA citrus judging teams take first place at Texas Citrus Fiesta

Both the junior and senior citrus judging teams from the Mission FFA had a very successful day during the recent Texas Citrus Fiesta judging contest. Both teams earned first place in their divisions.

The junior team consisted of: Abraham Weaver, Itzel Lopez, Alyssa Flores, Andy Garcia, Roly Hinjosa, Michelle Flores, Javier Lopez, April Cerda.

The senior team consisted of: Miguel Ceron, Jennifer Quintero, Vanessa Calderon, Renata Bazan, Stephen Carrera, Desiree Melecio, Noemie Garcia.

Vanessa Calderon also received the first place, high point individual award for the highest grade in the event.

Jacob Flores earned a second place for the sub-junior team contest.
