Early Learning Academies & Fueling Brains Academies

Mission CISD Early Learning Academies and Fueling Brains Academies

are redefining Pre-K and Kinder programs

in the Rio Grande Valley!

Mission CISD has partnered with Fueling Brains to transform our Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and Kindergarten programs using their Ready-Set-Grow program in two very different ways. This exclusive Ready-Set-Grow program was developed through some of the best experts in science, technology, and early childhood from across the globe. It focuses on enhancing the development of a child’s brain, and incorporating an important parental involvement component in the process.

90% of a child’s brain is developed by the age of 5 years. We are prepared to make the most of those critical years for a child’s development while also supporting behavioral, social-emotional, and cognitive development that provides the best foundation for a child’s future. The Ready-Set-Grow Montessori-based Left Brain classrooms develop concentration, logic and focus, while the Reggio Emilia-inspired classrooms develop creativity, imagination and social skills. Movement classrooms focus on physical literacy and healthy mind-body connections. It is like training the right side of the brain and the left side of the brain how to learn and work together, better!

Mission CISD is the only school district in the Rio Grande Valley to incorporate this important innovation into its elementary schools. Fueling Brains Academies have been opened in six elementary schools that offer a more immersive experience for students in thematic classrooms. Eight Mission CISD elementary schools offer the Early Learning Academy powered by Fueling Brains. It is like creating specialty schools within a school.
