Mission, Texas- The new Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) mobile app is now available! It is available for both iOS and Android phone users. The app was created through the same company Mission CISD uses for its mass notification system, SchoolMessenger, http://launch.customschoolapp.net/missioncisd/.
The new Mission CISD mobile app will give parents and students a quick way to receive campus/district alerts, news, and calendar events; plus a whole host of other district information through their smartphones and tablets.
The Mission CISD mobile app can be downloaded from Google Play and from the Apple App Store. When the app is started for the first time, users are asked if they want to select specific campuses for notifications and the app newsfeed. Users should also consider making sure the push notifications are allowed in the “settings” area of the app. This will allow users to receive urgent message alerts through the app.
District officials plan to work on continual improvements for the app and the information available through the app as time progresses.
