Mission, Texas- After a successful day at the Rio Grande Valley FFA District convention, two members of the Mission High School (MHS) FFA Chapter are advancing to the Area 10 Regional competitions to be held in May at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
Sebastian Carrillo is advancing in the Senior Prepared Public Speaking competition after placing first at the District contest. Julissa Alvarez is advancing in the FFA Talent competition after earning reserve champion honors at the District contest.
While not advancing, MHS FFA Chapter member Ariana Pena placed third in the Senior Prepared Public Speaking District contest.
