This past Saturday the Veterans Memorial High School FFA (Future Farmers of America) Alumni held its 9th annual livestock show in the new Mission CISD Ag-farm facility (Jose Correa Jr. Agriculture Science Lab). Students exhibited their livestock and horticulture projects to all that attended and everyone had a wonderful time. The Alumni also provided a meal immediately following the show for all to enjoy. It was great seeing our students, parents and community coming together for this very important event which will help them in the upcoming STAR (South Texas Agricultural Roundup) and Rio Grande Valley Livestock Shows. Our students and parents appreciated the support of our sponsors, administrators and school board, and for being allowed the use of the new Ag-Farm. See below for complete results of the show.
