Mission, Texas- New traffic patterns will be implemented at Midkiff Elementary School when the 2017-2018 school year begins on August 28. Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) and campus officials developed the new plans with the Palmhurst Police Department in an effort to decrease traffic issues and increase safety around the school during high traffic volume times.
To enter Midkiff Elementary School during pick up and drop off times, all traffic will be required to use the southbound direction on Mayberry Road, and turn right into the appropriate entry gate. When exiting the campus during pick up and drop off times, all traffic will turn right (southbound) onto Mayberry Road.
During pick up and drop off times, no northbound vehicles will be allowed to turn left into the school and no traffic will be permitted to turn left (north) when leaving the school.
