Mission, Texas- Veterans Memorial High School student, Damian Gonzalez recently accomplished a personal and campus milestone. The sophomore earned the 6th chair in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Region 15 Jazz Band. Gonzalez is the first VMHS student to do so. The trombone player attended the auditions held in late September at Edinburg High School that included students from Roma to Alamo.
