Mission CISD Migrant Department coordinated with College First to offer students a Space Exploration Camp hosted at Alton Memorial High School. The camp was available to 6th to 8th grade migrant students from throughout the district. Students were able to participate in a hands-on activity and even had an opportunity to launch a rocket.
In the afternoon, students visited several stations in which they had the opportunity to explore ozzobots, drones, spider robots, robotic arms, and virtual reality goggles. This program is empowering students for college and career success. All the participants received a t-shirt with the slogan "These are the skills you need to Succeed." #BESUCCESSFUL
