The Region One Migrant Education Program called upon the Mission FFA Chapter Parliamentary Procedure team to provide training and a demonstration of how to run a meeting using Robert’s Rules of Order. The chapter’s Parliamentary Procedure team has earned many awards and recognitions, including finishing in the top ten at national competition.

The Mission FFA Chapter took about 30 students to the training session. Parliamentary Procedure Team members provided a demonstration, while other students provided additional information for the workshop.

The students presented to parents and Migrant Education Program directors from throughout the Region One area that stretches from Laredo to Brownsville.

In the invitation from Region One indicated the Mission FFA students were asked to share their knowledge due to the awards the group has received, and because of the experience the students and advisors have with the topic of parliamentary procedures.
