Traffic patterns used during student drop off and pick up times around Bryan Elementary School will be changing, effective Monday, October 20. Working with the Mission Police Department, a new traffic pattern was implemented at the beginning of this this school year, hoping it would improve upon safety and potential issues near a retail store under construction next to the campus. This essentially blocked off Elm Drive from Bryan Road during the drop off and pick up times. Police officials have requested the traffic patterns be adjusted.
Beginning Monday, October 20, the traffic pattern at Bryan Elementary School during drop off and pick up times will revert to what had been used in previous years. Vehicles will enter the campus on Elm Drive from the west, with lines cueing up along Bryan Road, southward. Elm Drive will be open. However, as was done previously, vehicles will only be allowed go to north onto Bryan Road from Elm Drive, and no left turns will be allowed onto Elm Drive from Bryan Road during drop off and pick up times.
