The Veterans Memorial High School Masterminds team has advanced to the championship match of the TV quiz show competition between RGV high schools. The team will take on the Science Academy on Monday, April 20 at the KRGV-TV studios in Weslaco. Team members are Darius Davis, Hector Iglesias, and Rene Olivarez.
The schedule for previous matches is as follows: vs Mission High School, Sunday, April 19, 11:00 a.m.; vs Brownsville Pace, June 28, 11:00 a.m.; vs Sharyland, July 19, 11:00 a.m.; championship game vs Science Academy, July 25, 6:30 p.m.
