Mission, Texas- The choirs of Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) had a very strong showing at the recent UIL concert and sight-reading competition. The Mixed Choir and the Ladies Varsity Treble Choir each earned Sweepstakes Division 1 ratings. The Ladies JV Treble Choir received an outstanding Division 2 rating. In addition to doing very well, this was the first appearance of a mixed choir from VMHS at the concert and sight-reading contest.
