Changes Made to Mission CISD Registration Process

This year, registration days for most Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) schools will only be for students who are new to Mission CISD or who did not complete their registration packets/information before the end of the 2012-2013 school year. Proof of residency within the district is a part of completing the registration packets.

Registration will be held for all Mission CISD schools (except Mission Collegiate High School) on August 8 and 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Elementary school registration will be held at their respective campuses. Junior high school registrations will be held at their feeder high schools. Mission Jr. High School and R. Cantu Jr. High School student registration will be held at Veterans Memorial High School. Alton Memorial Jr. High School and K. White Jr. High School registration will be held at Mission High School.  These registration events should only be for students who are new to Mission CISD or for students who did not complete their registration packets prior to the registration days. A letter will be mailed to the students of the junior high schools and high schools mentioned above, with more specifics regarding procedures for the first day of school.

Mission Collegiate High School will hold registration activities on August 6 for all sophomores, and on August 7 for all incoming freshmen. Registration will be in the Mission High School Library from 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. for last names beginning with A-L, and 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. for last names beginning with M-Z.

At registration, students must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or family member over the age of 21 for the registration of students through eighth grade.
