The new Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) mobile app is now available! It is available for both iOS and Android phone users. The app was created through the same company Mission CISD uses for its mass notification system, SchoolMessenger, http://launch.customschoolapp.net/missioncisd/

MJH Science Bowl team qualifies for National Science Bowl

For the third year in a row, Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) will be sending a junior high school team to the National Science Bowl competition in Washington, DC. However, this will be the first time a team from Mission Jr. High School (MJH) has earned the honor.

February 15 is a Mission CISD Holiday

Monday, February 15 (President’s Day) is a school holiday for Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District). All district schools and offices will be closed for that day. Regular school and offices hours resume on Tuesday, February 16.

VMHS HOSA students advance to state competitions

Quite a few students from the Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) are advancing to state competitions, based upon their performance at recent Area level competitions. The Texas HOSA State Conference will be held in Galveston, Texas in mid-April.

Mission CISD crowns the district’s top spellers

After starting with a field of 32 competitors, it took about an hour to whittle that number down to one person, who is this year’s top speller in Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District). Kitana Garza, an eighth grader from Mission Jr. High School, won this year’s annual district spelling bee.

MHS FBLA students advance to state competitions

The Mission High School (MHS) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter has eight students who placed high enough at recent area competitions to advance to the Texas FBLA State Leadership Conference to be held in Houston, Texas in early March.
