Mission Statement
The Education Foundation of Mission CISD is a 501 c(3) nonprofit tax-exempt philanthropic organization of citizens that share a vision of enhancing the education of Mission CISD.  It works to increase private support of educational activities at MCISD which benefit students and personnel by supporting activities not funded by tax dollars.  This support will provide grant to MCISD employees, scholarships to graduating seniors, and continuing education for all MCISD staff. 
The foundation Fosters creative approaches to education through private grants and involvement, and awards Foundation funds through volunteer Board of Directors made of business, community and education leaders

Graduates earning college degrees and credit grows

This year’s graduates from Mission Collegiate High School, Mission High School, and Veterans Memorial High School earned a total of 12,322 Dual Enrollment college credit hours during their high school careers. Based upon figures from the College Board, the Mission CISD classes of 2017 will have saved $3,856,786 in college tuition costs.

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has a way for parents to check their child’s STAAR test scores online. This can be a great tool for parents who don’t want to wait until confidential student reports are mailed in July.
