This marks year three of the district’s Chromebook initiative. Incoming freshmen are provided the computers that are to be used for their four years of high school. Over the next two weeks, over 1,400 Chromebooks will get distributed to freshmen at our three high schools. The 2016-2017 school year will complete the phased rollout of the district’s main Chromebook initiative.
At the junior high schools, new Chromebooks are kept at the campuses for student use during the school day. Elementary schools use a combination of Chromebooks and tablets for instructional use at the campus.
