O’Grady students are finalists in national poster contest

Mission, Texas- Three fourth grade students from O’Grady Elementary School are finalists in a national poster contest. The campus submitted work from ten students to the 12th Annual Veteran’s Day Poster and Poem Contest sponsored by the Paralyzed Veterans of America. The theme for this year’s contest was: How would you thank a veteran this holiday season?

Artwork submitted by Jesus Arriaga, Aliya Tovar, and Bryanna Guerra (pictured left to right) were selected as part of the 20 national finalists. The student each received a special certificate and commemorative t-shirt.

The Paralyzed Veterans of America has shared the student’s artwork online at, http://www.pva.org/site/c.ajIRK9NJLcJ2E/b.9341421/k.6982/2015_Poster_and_Poem_Contest_Poster_Winners_and_Finalists.htm.
