88 students from Mission CISD are taking advantage of a special program offered through The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). The Prefreshman Engineering Program (TexPREP) is an enrichment program for qualifying middle school and high school students. They spend seven weeks gaining additional knowledge in the fields of mathematics, science, and engineering. The program also includes several follow-up sessions during the following school year.
