The Education Foundation of Mission CISD and the Rotary Club of Mission helped get the school year off to a good start for 50 district students this morning. The two organizations pooled their resources to provide back to school clothes through a shopping trip at the Target store in Mission. Each student was matched up with a district, foundation, or Rotary volunteer and a budget of $100 each. In many cases, volunteers were seen paying making up the difference if the purchase went slightly over the allowable amount.
