What do you get when you combine lemons, pennies, galvanized screws, and some wire? Some students at Waitz Elementary School recently found out you get a way to power an LED light. It was a fun, learning project put together by the campus librarian, Elizabeth Tanguma, as a part of Power Up at Your Library Day. The lesson was designed to help students see how information from books can be used to learn and create.
