Sixteen Special Olympics athletes from Mission CISD traveled to Austin and Round Rock, Texas to compete in State Winter Games February 2-5. More than 2,400 Special Olympic athletes from across the state competed in bowling, power lifting and volleyball. Mission CISD athletes had an outstanding showing with a total 23 medals and 6 ribbons, including 10 Gold medals. Congratulations, athletes and coaches, on a successful season!
