Guadalupe Rodriguez of Mission HS was selected Boys Wrestler of the Year by RGVSports.com at their 2017 All Valley Sports Awards Banquet held this past Saturday; along with Veterans Memorial High School’s Noel Vela, who was selected Baseball Player of the Year and Diego Hernandez, who was selected Sub-6A Male Athlete of the Year and Football Player of the Year. Also nominated were Jackie Howell of VMHS for Sub-6A Female Athlete of the Year, as well as VMHS Athletics for the Sub-6A Program of the Year.
