Mission, Texas- Additional construction at Mission High School (MHS) is resulting in a few changes to the traffic pattern at the campus for the beginning of the school year. Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD), MHS, and city officials met recently to work on how to best address traffic and safety concerns around the MHS campus.
The main student drop-off and pick-up location will be along the eastbound side of Cleo Dawson at Cummings.
The drop-off loop located on the east side of the campus will be utilized by district school buses only.
During the school day, visitors to MHS will continue to access a temporary visitor’s parking area on Cummings, just off of the Kika de la Garza Loop. This was the main visitor access to MHS last school year.
