MHS Winter Colorguard makes some campus history at state competition

            Mission, Texas- On Saturday, April 7, the Mission High School (MHS) Varsity Winter Guard started their day of competition at the Texas Educational Colorguard Association (TECA) State Championships ranked in sixth place. When the competition was over, they earned honors and finished in second place in the Scholastic A classification. In addition to the silver medal, the guard also earned a Caption Award for Design Analysis.

            This marks the best finish, in the highest classification, in school history and the first time winning one of the four Caption Awards.
