SkillsUSA multimedia students earn honors at state competition

            Mission, Texas- The SkillsUSA Multimedia Club from Mission High School (MHS) recently competed at the SkillsUSA state contest in Corpus Christi, Texas. Students participated in 2D/3D animation, creating 3D rendered still images that received high marks from judges. Students received State Superior, State Excellence, and Very Good ratings on various projects.

            In the area of animation technology, Priscilla Reyes and Rachel Clark received State Superior ratings.

            In the area of 3D rendered still image, Emily Guerra received a rating of State Superior. Receiving State Excellence ratings for 3D rendered image were: Jacob Alonzo, Hector Becho, Fabian Gutierrez. The team of Iran Max Sanchez and Enez Balderas also received a State Excellence rating.

            Receiving a Very Good rating for 3D rendered image were: Zamantha Lara and Luana Sanchez.

            Fabian Gutierrez and Emily Guerra attend Veterans Memorial High School, but participate and compete through the MHS Multimedia Club.
