MCISD bands participated at the annual UIL Region XV High School Concert and Sight Reading Contest held at the performing arts center at UTRGV in Edinburg on April 17-19, 2018. Never before in district history have all four bands received Division 1 Superior ratings on their prepared music on stage. In addition, the VMHS Wind Ensemble received a Division 1 Superior rating in Sight Reading to earn a Sweepstakes award. Congratulations to all students and directors on their hard work.
