Veterans Memorial High School Mariachi Toros de Plata were presented with a certificate on Friday, May 11, 2018 by the Office of the Consulate of Mexico. The group was recognized for their participation at the Consulate Gala held on April 27th. The Consulate of Mexico Community Affairs Coordinator, Olivia Rubio, presented the certificate on behalf of Consulate Lic. Eduardo Bernal Martinez. The presentation was conducted during the VMHS Mariachi Toros de Plata Spring Concert performance. The VMHS mariachi is under the direction of Mr. Francisco Vela.
