Mission CISD is excited to announce they are offering a variety of aquatic programs for the summer in their recently renovated Aquatic Center. Programs such as Child Learn-to-Swim, Water Aerobics/BoKWA H20, MCISD Lap Swim Hours, MCISD Family Night, and MCISD Public Hours.
Options like this, allows everyone in the community to enjoy the cool splash of water during the triple digit heat this summer. The MCISD Aquatic Center is located at 1500 Nicholson Avenue in Mission, Texas, it was formerly known as the Northside pool located at the southwest corner of Mission High School.
The district is currently offering four sessions of Learn-to-Swim at the MCISD Aquatic Center from Monday through Thursday. The session will consist of eight, 45 minute classes for children from 5 to 11 years of age and they must pass a pre-swim test. Class sizes are limited to 8 students to 1 instructor depending their swim level and age. The fee for is $40 with two morning classes and two afternoon classes. They are as follows:
Morning Afternoon
8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
SESSION 1: June 4-7 & 11-14
SESSION 2: June 18-21 & 25-28
SESSION 3: July 2, 3, 5, 6 & 9-12
SESSION 4: July 16-19 & 23-26
In addition to this program, we are also piloting a water aerobics program called Water Aerobics/BoKWA H20 that runs from Monday through Wednesday with two time slots and a class on Thursday with one time slot:

7:00 p.m. to 7:50 p.m.
MCISD is offering Lap Swim Hours which is a continuous independent swim workout from Monday through Saturday and their schedules is as follows:
Monday through Thursday
6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday through Saturday
9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
There will also be time for families to enjoy the pool on MCISD Family Night which is scheduled Thursday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will also provide our community the opportunity to enjoy a dip in the pool on Monday through Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
There is a small fee for entrance to the swimming pool, Students pay a $2 fee while Adults pay a $3 fee. There is a monthly card for both the Lap Swim and Aerobics for $40 and MCISD Employees pays $30 for a monthly card. Registration at the Aquatic Center is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and in the afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
