Mission FFA Greenhands learning their way

                Mission High School FFA Chapter Greenhand members recently participated in the Area X FFA Greenhand Camp held at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show Grounds in Mercedes, TX. In order for students to be qualified as a Greenhand, they must either be a freshmen participating in an Agricultural Science class or a first year Agricultural Science student. Students were able to participate in a variety of activities relating to sections of the FFA. This included: the FFA Motto, Career Development Events, Leadership Development Events, Supervised Agricultural Experience, and the FFA Creed. Each activity was designed to help incoming FFA members focus on important aspects that make up the FFA. The Mission High School FFA students were among some 640 student members that attended the event.

                The Mission High School FFA members who attended were: Morgan Solis, Jacob Gutierrez, Kassandra Solis, Xiomara Sanchez, Carlos Martinez, Jacqueline Rodriguez, Samantha Young, Rebekah Nolan, Sebastian Carrillo, Arnulfo Gonzalez, Ryan Gauna, Alan Hinojosa, Eduardo Perez, Ismael Garcia, Johnny Magallan, Esmerelda Sanchez, Brizeyda Cruz, Saul Pena, Azael Garcia, Edgar Plasencia, Christina De Luna, Cesia Alfaro.
