Several elementary schools have been getting a special visit from a children’s book author. Michael Hodge has written a popular series of books named for the main character Bilingual Benny. His books are written primarily for students in Pre-K through second grade.
So far, Hodge has visited about half our elementary schools. He will make another round of school visits in the spring.
Hodge is pictured here speaking with students at Cantu Elementary School. Others visited so far include: O’Grady Elementary School, Alton Elementary School, Cavazos Elementary School, Bryan Elementary School, Leal Elementary School, and Newcomers Academy.
