The recent Code the Town project the district has been involved in along with the Mission Boys and Girls Club has started to take roots in other ways within our schools.
Mims Elementary School has started a We Speak Code team in support of the coding projects being developed by the students. They meet once a week for an hour to continue to develop their computer games and animations that were first introduced during the two week Code the Town trainings.
On December 8, the students will present their final coding projects before judges.
