Students receive art scholarships

Two Mission High School (MHS) students have received notifications they qualified for scholarships from the Art Instruction School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The scholarships would go toward fees in the online instruction offered by the art school.

The Art Instruction School indicates their scholarships are based upon student art abilities. The students submit artwork in three different categories for judging. They include a simple line drawing, tone and texture, and a free choice drawing. In the first two categories, the students select one subject to reproduce.
