Lower grades writing process routine in the classroom that establishes the steps in the writing process.

a good way to establish the writing process routine in the lower grade would be for the children to actually manipulate and work the difference using what we already have in the classroom there's usually an area of the room where we keep the days of the week we would begin by telling a child to go and grab the day of the week in this case we would begin with all right boys and girls just go ahead and get the day of the week today is Monday boys and girls what do we start with in the writing process who would start with what is storming chicken girls let's go ahead and select a student so that they can come and very carefully with the clothes pins go ahead and pull it out I didn't say that right under the writing process title that we have four to me different story every exterminators when we use the graphic organizer and we said like the word that we're going to use in our store alright this would happen on Monday on Tuesday we would have been today all right with Mean Girls 2 days Tuesday let's go ahead grab the day of the week that we are on no boys and girls to me work on brainstorming on Tuesday we would go ahead and start creating a rough draft is going to let the student putting a brainstorming back because we already did that part yesterday heading up over the rough draft boys and girls today we're going to create a rough draft using each of the words then the teacher bright we can girls that's okay and select the date that we are working on we were working today we're working on Wednesday don't do we work on the rough draft on Wednesday revising and editing stomach go ahead and grab are revising and editing you will notice that we're going to be using a righty the revising and editing the following day on Thursday again we would just need to do all right boys and girls today Thursday it's Grabber days of the week going to be doing revising and editing on Thursday Boys and Girls Club yesterday let's go ahead and put that backwards on Thursday will be working final draft review that the final draft is all England because it is our final work that will be pregnant then finally on Friday we will be able to do the week again so boys and girls today is Friday we are on the last step of the writing process yay she's working on her final draft put that back in order all right boys and girls today we're going to publish and presents are writing and this would complete the writing process for the children as you see it we go over it day-by-day this would establish a routine and the children would be able to know what step is next in the writing process build a foundation that we need for the students once they get into the higher grade a way to review the writing process with a student is also through making of you will Begin by writing process with the label that I created the way that I created the back of a portfolio is by using Dollar Store board and then in the clear area in between eustachi protector
