Mission High School CNA candidates honored at Pinning Ceremony

Mission High School had their Certified Nursing Aides (CNA) Pinning Ceremony on Thursday, May 30th. The Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) consists of 100 clock hours. Candidates must train and demonstrate mastery on 45 activities of  daily living and must participate in clinical rotations. After successfully passing both written and skills evaluations, our students become Certified Nurse Aides. Obtaining their CNA is our students’ first stepping stone towards their career as future healthcare professionals.

 

A total of 20 students were recognized as Texas Nurse Aide Honorees for 2018-2019. They are as follows: Angela Monique Calacuayo, Maria Christina Cruz-Aguilar, Giselle De Leon, Evelyn Pamela Flores Rivas, Kassandra Medrano, Fatima Alejandra Moreno, Eileen Alexa Rodriguez, Katie Alexa Tijerina, Victoria Arlet Trevino, Clarissa Andrea Canizalez, Shauntell Marie Grande, Horacio Moronta V, Jasmine Jessel Ornelas, Joanna Louise Velasquez, Samantha Marie Hernandez, Aliyah Reana Laca, Ingrid Dalith Munoz, Aurora Palacios, Natalee Jaenett Pavon, and Lailanee Villasana.
