Mission, Texas- Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) divers stood at the top of the medal stand at today’s district meet, earning themselves district championships. Victoria Bonilla placed first among the girls and Eric Benavides placed first among the boys in the 5A competitions. Jayden Longoria placed second, Ryann Ramirez placed third, and Belen Aguirre placed sixth. All five divers will now advance to regional swimming and diving competitions to be held January 31 and February 1 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
