New sites added for Grab and Go meals starting on Monday

Mission, Texas- Beginning Monday, March 23, 2020, children in the Mission Consolidated Independent School District area can receive free meals during the time of district school closures. Due to the strong support of district employees who can work during the health emergency, the number of sites for getting the meals has expanded to 21. Mondays through Fridays, breakfast will be available for pick up 8:00-9:00 a.m. Lunches will be available for pick up 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Children must be in the vehicle in order to receive a free meal. Any child, ages 18 and under, is eligible to receive a meal, even if they are not a Mission CISD student. Mission CISD students will also be able to pick up printed lesson packets for the week at the meal pick up locations and times (Monday and Tuesday only). Parents will be able to pick up lessons for all the children in their family from one location without having to visit several sites. A web page for accessing online, digital resources and the lesson packets will go live on Monday, March 23.

Meal services will be available at the following locations: Mission Collegiate High School, Mission High School, Veterans Memorial High School, Mission Jr. High School, Leal Elementary School, O’Grady Elementary School, Capt. J. Castro Elementary School, Midkiff Elementary School, Mims Elementary School, Waitz Elementary School, Cantu Elementary School, Marcell Elementary School, Bryan Elementary School, R. Cantu Jr. High School, Salinas Elementary School. Mobile sites through re-configured school buses will be available at the following locations: Madero Park; 6 Mile & Los Ebanos; 4 Mile & Inspiration; 5 Mile & Inspiration; Trosper & Yukon; Los Ebanos & Palmera Drive.

Mission CISD anuncia nuevas ubicaciones para las comidas gratis comenzando el lunes 

Desde el lunes 23 de marzo de 2020, los niños del Distrito Escolar de Mission pueden recibir comidas gratuitas durante el tiempo de cierre de las escuelas del distrito. El distrito ha agregado más lugares para poder recoger la comida debido al fuerte apoyo de los empleados del distrito que pueden trabajar durante la emergencia de salud, el número de sitios para obtener las comida se ha ampliado a 21. Comenzando de  lunes a viernes, el desayuno estará disponible para recoger de 8:00 a 9:00 a.m. La comida estará disponibles para recoger de 11:30 a.m. a 1:00 p.m. Los niños deben estar en el vehículo para recibir su comida. Cualquier niño, de 18 años de edad o menor, puede recibir la comida, incluso si no es un estudiante del Distrito Escolar de Mission.

Los estudiantes de Mission también deben recoger los paquetes de lecciones imprimidos para la semana en los lugares y horarios de recogida de comidas (lunes y martes). Los padres deben recoger lecciones para todos los niños de su familia desde un solo lugar sin tener que visitar varios sitios. Información para que sus niños participen en lecciones por internet estarán disponibles el lunes, 23 de marzo.

 

Los servicios de comida estarán disponibles en las siguientes ubicaciones: Mission Collegiate High School, Leal Elementary School, O’Grady Elementary School, Capt. J. Castro Elementary School, Midkiff Elementary School, Mims Elementary School, Waitz Elementary School, Cantu Elementary School, Marcell Elementary School, Mission High School, Bryan Elementary School, R. Cantu Jr. High School, Salinas Elementary School, Roosevelt Alternative School. Los sitios móviles a través de autobuses escolares remodelados estarán disponibles en las siguientes ubicaciones: Madero Park; 6 Millas y Los Ebanos; 4 Millas y Inspiración; 5 millas y inspiración; Trosper & Yukon; Los Ebanos & Palmera Drive.
