Mission, Texas- Rafael Cantu Jr. High (RCJH) Cavalier Band students earned two spots in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-Region Jazz Band for the 2020-2021 school year. The two band members that earned this recognition are Randy Sanchez (1st Chair Drumset), and Eli Lopez (1st Chair Jazz Guitar). They went up against students from PSJA to Sharyland and beat out all the competition. Congratulations to Randy and Eli for their outstanding performance. Awesome way to represent RCJH and Mission CISD.
