Mission, Texas- Two Mission Consolidated Independent School District Destination Imagination (DI) teams outshined their competition this past weekend in State and next will now be headed to Globals. The JCMC^2 took a 2nd Place win and the Fantastic Mythicats took 8th place in addition to the Best Spirit Award. Now these two teams will mark their calendars for May 21 -24, 2022 and start their journey to Kansas City, MO for the Global Finals 2022.
VMHS JCMC^2 team members are Gael Garcia, Mariano Garcia, Juan Mejia-Chevaili, Kristen Hernandez, Layla Choate, and Emma Zamora. Their coach is Mabeline Rodriguez.
Waitz Elementary Fantastic Mythicats team members are Bonifacio Salinas, Jayden Ozuna, Jenelle Garza, Yaritzell Mendiola, Carina Avila, and Gael Salazar. Their coaches are Corina Avila and Leticia De Los Reyes.
