Karen is an ambitious student, who always strives to do her best. She is the Student Council President, Senior Class Treasurer, BPA Secretary and an AP Scholar. She is also a member of the Literary Club, NHS and Rho Kappa NSSHS. Karen’s proudest accomplishment this year was being ranked in the top 5 percent of her class and graduating with her associate degree from STC. She aspires to attend the University of Texas at Austin to earn a degree in biomedical engineering with the goal of attending medical school and becoming a physician. Karen is the daughter of Lorena and Emilio Alanis.
