Mission High School senior, Melanie Zavala, just signed with Wiley College in Marshall, Texas. She is excited to join her new soccer team and play along with her Wildcat teammates.

“I was really surprised that Wiley wanted me to sign with them because I have a daughter,” states Melanie Zavala. “I am  just really happy for this opportunity and all the help I received from my coaches here at MHS and Wiley College.”

While at the college she will be majoring in biology and after graduation plans to start her career as a diagnostic medical sonographer. She heads to Wiley College for her first soccer practice on August 1st and then plays her first game two weeks later.
