Maritza is a bright student who graduated with honors from Mission High School with the Class of 2022. The accomplishments she’s proudest of include being accepted into the South Texas College Criminal Justice Dual Enrollment Academy and graduating with her associate degree from STC while in high school. Maritza was involved in several extracurricular activities including SkillsUSA (Criminal Justice Quizbowl), National Honors Society, U.T. Outreach and Robotics. She aspires to work in a federal agency in the criminal justice field when she’s older and hopes to learn more about them by interning at agencies such as the DEA, FBI or the U.S. Marshall Service. Maritza is the daughter of Joe and Maria Moreno.
