Mission CISD launches new online community for Alumni
Mission, Texas- Graduates from Mission High School, Veterans Memorial High School, and Mission Collegiate High School now have a place to connect with classmates. Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) is launching a new online alumni community called Mission CISD Alumni Family.
This is a free service to any Mission CISD alumni to stay connected with classmates and engage in activities that can strengthen each other, and district schools. By joining the online network, alumni can connect with old friends and classmates, but also get inspired through the sharing of alumni stories. Over time it can lead to volunteer opportunities and help with reunion planning for alumni members.
“We are very excited to be able to offer this service to our alumni,” said Dr. Carol G. Perez, Superintendent. “While the various social media channels have helped many of them reconnect, we are hoping this will truly develop into a rich online community for our alumni.”
Dr. Perez said that the district contracted with AlumniNations to help provide the service and that data security is among the priorities of both the district and AlumniNations. She said no data will be shared or sold outside of Mission CISD.
