Mission, Texas- VMHS Patriot Band students competed at the TMEA Region 15 All-Region Band Auditions on Saturday Nov. 19 at Edinburg HS. They competed against students from PSJA to Roma to earn a seat on the coveted TMEA Region 15 All-Region Bands.
VMHS had 29 students (a new campus record) earn seats in the ensembles! They will perform alongside the best band students in the Rio Grande Valley under the baton of esteemed music educators and conductors on January 14th at the La Joya Performing Arts Center.
A total of 12 students advanced to the Pre-Area audition, the next level in advancing towards the state level. Of those 12, five students advanced to the AREA Audition to compete for the chance to become a Texas All-State Musician!
