Mission, Texas- Veterans Memorial High School Choir had six students that not only earned “Superior” ratings for their performances at the UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest but they are also advancing to State Competition. These students received the “Superior” rating, performing a class one (college level) solo. The Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest will be held in Austin, Texas in May.
The following students are advancing to State Competition: Alexis Alaniz, Desiree Leal, Adrian Lozoya, Sofia Miramontes, Emilee Silva, and Kenya Zuniga.
