Mission, Texas- The Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) Child Nutrition Program has earned special recognition from the U.S. Department of Agriculture for providing outstanding summer meals programs.
They have been given the Turnip the Beet Award for their continuing commitment to ensuring children in our community can receive high-quality and nutritious meals during the summer months. The award also honors the hard work entailed in providing high-quality meals to children that are appetizing, appealing, and nutritious.
