Mission, Texas - Mission High School Eagle football player, Abraham Hernandez just signed a letter of Intent to play football at the collegiate level. He will be headed to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX to join their football team this fall.

First and foremost, I have to thank God for everything. Without him, none of this would be possible, and of course my parents,” states Hernandez. “Through everything, my friends and family have always been my people to fall back on.”

Hernandez overcame injuries in his sophomore and junior year of high school but through all his adversities, Hernandez has managed to overcome and rise to the occasion.

I’ve been able to lean on the people that have been close to me since the beginning, and for that, I’m thankful and grateful for everyone and everything,” states Hernandez.

Hernandez will start his training this fall and will be concentrating his academic efforts on obtaining a degree in sports management with the goal of becoming a sports agent. He aspires to use his passion for sports to better the world and help aspiring athletes in need.
