Athena is proud of being a part of the Salinas Mini Robots and their accomplishments, which includes advancing to state competition. Her activities include: robotics, chess, dictionary skills, guitar, acting, choir, drawing, origami, crochet, and the Alton Student Leadership Academy. She hopes to attend Harvard University and major in Art. Around campus, Athena is known to be a talented artist who also excels in her academics. She is often seen sketching, working on origami, or crocheting during her free time. She is the daughter of Jose de Jesus Garcia Herrera and Irene Jimenez.
