Mission Collegiate High School Commencement

The Mission Collegiate High School class of 2023 will receive their diplomas on May 28, at the Payne Arena, Hidalgo. The commencement ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m. Seniors will enter with the traditional “Pomp and Circumstance.”

            Dana Gonzalez will lead the presentation of colors. America Gonzalez will lead everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance. Wendy Rodriguez will present the Vision Statement. Violeta Lira will provide an invocation, followed by the official welcome by Lauren Sanchez. Adrian Heredia-Ojeda will introduce special guests in attendance.

There will be four addresses during the program. The first will be by Mission Collegiate High School Principal, Ana Lisa Flores, followed by Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Carol G. Perez. The salutatory address will be given by Tiley Guerra, followed by the valedictory address by Kiana Reyna.

            Dr. Perez will provide the official certification of graduates, after which, the Mission CISD Board of Trustees will award the diplomas to the graduates of the class of 2023.

            Leslie Barrera will lead the tassel ceremony, followed by a special presentation by Victoria Gonzalez.

            Lukas Perez will provide a benediction, after which the graduates will depart to “War March of the Priest.”
