This week-long event highlights the essential role that school counselors play in the lives of students and acknowledges their dedication to fostering student success.
The Mission CISD Guidance & Counseling Department is recognized for its dedication to providing students with essential social and emotional support, helping them navigate the challenges of school and life. Their commitment is instrumental in creating a nurturing environment where students can grow and succeed.
Their dedication to Mission CISD students is further underscored by recent achievements, notably the receipt of the Texas CREST Award. Several Mission CISD counselors and campuses have earned accolades as exemplary recipients of the Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas (CREST) Award for their exceptional Counseling Programs in the 2023-2024 school year.
