MISSION, TEXAS (JUNE 11, 2025) – Mission Consolidated Independent School District (Mission CISD) is proud to announce that several of its counselors have been recognized by Region One Education Service Center as recipients of the 2024–2025 Counseling Reaching Excellence for Students in Texas (CREST) Award.
The CREST Award highlights schools and districts that demonstrate outstanding comprehensive counseling programs. Mission CISD’s counseling team was recognized for their unwavering dedication to supporting student success through academic guidance, mental health services, and college and career readiness initiatives.
“This recognition reflects the hard work and passion of our counseling team,” said Juan Garcia, Director of Guidance Counseling at Mission CISD. “I’m incredibly proud of our counselors. Every day, they pour their hearts into helping our students overcome challenges and achieve their goals. This recognition is a true reflection of their passion and commitment.”
